Hi ! I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Jigisha Patel but everyone calls me Jigs. Let me take you through my background, experience and personality.
In June of 2005, I finished my Beauty Diploma to which I successfully completed while running a busines and being a hands-on mom to two young children, at the time. I immediately worked part time in a well-known salon around Perth and it gave me the chance to gain experience.
From a young age, I gave up all other beauty treatments as I had always worked in hair salons and had great interest in being a creative. I had no idea on how to enter the Hair & Makeup industry and had no knowledge on business standards. What I did is set up a work from home business and thought that that was all I need to do.
When I got my first international booking, it gave me the encouragement boost that I needed to believe that I can make it work. I couldn’t afford to pay for an education so I did most jobs at a minimal cost and not considering the value I bring to my services.
Through the hardship that I experienced over time, I learnt to value my service and talent more. I am able to establish myself as a respectable hair & makeup artist by being adaptable to change, having perseverance in learning and practicing constantly. I am proud to say that I have greatly improved and will always commit to growing even more.

Just texting to Thank you for the other day an sorry I couldn’t write to you earlier. I had to come back to Uni shortly after the wedding and it was madness. But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I loved how I looked and had no heart to remove the makeup that night. Ajay loved ig and kept telling me that high standards had been set and I need go look like that everyday now haha I will send you some pics from the big day soon.

Jigisha was truly amazing. She did my Bridal makeup and hair and the hair of my 2 daughters. She showed great professionalism, customer service, warmth & super friendly. I had so many comments of how amazing I looked and felt like an Indian Princess. Honestly, I don’t think anyone else could have pulled off what she did! Jigs was amazing, I was very nervous and she made me feel relaxed and excited for the night. My hairstyle and makeup was perfect. She was so helpful and professional. I am not usually a girly girl and don’t know too much about makeup or how to apply it. Jigs had made my night amazing and I even saw her later that night, she was caring and attentive.
